Game with National Games

“Fifth time date of national games is being extended.” Now the importance of national games can be measured by the above news headlines. Indian Olympic agency (IOA) has once again extended the dates of national games which are going to be held in Jharkhand. Previous four times the date was extended because of incompletion of infrastructure. Actually it has to be held in 2007 but this extensions took such a long period that yet it is not decided that when it will be held exactly.

This shows the seriousness of our authority concerned on the mini Olympic for Indians. Even after that no one is going to take responsibility that this delay was due to him and no fulfillment of damage to be cleared by any one according to the contracts. The president of IOA Suresh kalmadi told that the dates are extended but he has not confirmed when it will be heal means what would be the dates?

This poor response to the in national games could not give the hope to the players to perform better in world stages like in Olympic. As we see that one Olympic gold medal made IOA proud but was it enough? This was far behind of china and USA. We should look after it and there is need of concern of authority to promote and established a strong platform to National Games.
